First, TRX radios don't trunk track DMR or NXDN, they do P25 and Type II. The TRX is the newer version of the WS1080/1098 family of scanners.
Second, Flex Step is on the main (General) settings page in EZ Scan, right side about 3/4 of the way down.

I see. Thank you for this. I'll give it a go! ;-)

Any update?

Unfortunately, re-formating the SD card didn't work. Neither did changing the FlexStep settings. I'm able to skip unwanted things using the left and right arrow buttons, but it would be more practical if I could lock them out.

On my TRX1E skip button is working in spectrum sweep mode.
However there is a max. of 250 skip/lockout freq's in search mode / spectrum sweeper.
Maybe you can check the lockouts in search menu?

UPDATE: I've emailed the company where it was purchased, perhaps they might know something.

Does anyone know if the TRX-1 can have its firmware downgraded, and there is a downloadable firmware list? The Whilstler site only pulls in the latest firmware. EDIT: Never mind. I just figured out that it can be done using the software.

UPDATE: The skip/lockout button is working now, and I have no idea why, but I do have a possible theory: when I received the scanner, I went straight to the Whistler site to download the software. However, I later learned the software I downloaded was for the US and Canada version, and it is therefore possible that connecting my UK scanner through this software may have caused a bug - but I really don't know. I'm now using the correct software.

Tested Skip with Limit search and the unit behaved accordingly (selected frequency was skipped)
Tested Skip with Spectrum Sweeper and the unit behaved accordingly (selected frequency was skipped)

If you have updated the radio CPU, please go to the Global Settings and reset the Default Vals to remap the EEPROM

Thank you, Support. All is working correctly, now. And cheers, RaleighGuy! ;-)
