Updating the RRDB into the radio. My that takes a while and u must have the radio in the off position.

Okay I think I have the hang of things. I deleted all systems in the programming software and added each system on its own, giving it a unique scanlist. It would be nice if after you download the systems, if you can edit any of the names or add talkgroups, even if they are encrypted.

I see the scan lists scrolling up on the display. Are these realtime speed of scanning the systems or is there some delay from the scanning to display?

It seems that the TRX 1 has a much higher user understanding curve of their software architecture than the 436HP.

The display scroll speed is unrelated to scanning speed.

You can modify the names of the talkgroups.

It would also be nice if you pick another scangroup other than 1 that the 1 scan group icon does not stay active. it cause me to have to go back and delete a bunch of systems off group 1.

You can change the scanlist assignment in the far right column.

Under general settings, in the list of the scanlists, you can select a different default scanlist for your imports.

Also, has anyone played with the information displayed on the screen with trunked systems? I am talking about the digital IDs and TGID's? does it get too busy or confusing?

In EZ Scan, on the "Advanced Features" tab, on the top left, you can modify the display settings. Also, on the "General Settings" tab, you can turn "Display Mode" to "Simple."
