I have a TRX2. In my area we have DMR and NXDN.
I have programed the scanner in a way in which I thought would allow the scanner to here the DMR/NXDN traffic and the Analog traffic that is used on the safe frequinces by a couple of different agency's. However It appears that although the analog is coming through the digital signals aren't being auto detected and are coming through as analog with out any processing through the DSP.Scanner help.png

You need to specify DMR or NXDN mode, if unsure enter freq twice once as analog once as dmr/nxdn. Auto doesn't work all the time (hardly ever to be honest).

So your saying for each freq have one set up in its analog with its squelch settings "That should ignore the Digital" And have it again set up for the Digital?
Seems poor to have a auto feature that feels to preform and make users at lest x2 each freq

Auto works sometimes, but not always, nothing in this world is perfect. I'm just making a suggestion for how to make it work better.

It can do auto from analog to digital P25 but to no other digital mode AFAIK. Whistler seemed to be unaware of the limitations and it looked as if it where going to be fixed, together with a lot of other fixes, but then Whistler Wendy left the company and everything where stopped.

I see. So it's a feature on the scanner that they just never completed... That is truly a shame... I guess tomorrow I will spend some time duplicating.

Maybe a future update will fix the auto processes.

Thank you.

It's a feature that works but not as you expect it to, it only works for analog. Overall I do not set anything to auto, I set it to do exactly what I want it to. this is especially needed if you have a frequency that is being used by both analog and dmr etc. You must set up each separately.
