NEED ALITTLE MORE INFO. What system are you tring to download and what software.
What error is encountered

What kind of problem are you having? You can't download freqs.? The freqs. won't upload to the scanner? The scanner doesn't hear anything after programming?

1: what software are you using on pc

you need software on pc then the software goes to RR database and gets the selected freqs and places them in the software. After setting up freqs in software you then write the freqs from the pc to the radio

sounds to me as you think downloading from RR sends freqs to radio
it wont
its a multi step process

I've never even heard of a datebase. Maybe that is why you are having problems downloading; It's a non-existent item.

We need more info before we can answer your question. At the bare minimum, we need the model of scanner you are using, the software you are using, and the error message we are receiving.
