Trying to put frequency in

I have a bc 365 crs and I am trying to put in 453.3375 into it but will not take it .I can only get 453.337 .we at my Dept are going to 453.3375. I have it on and I am getting a little other chatter from another Dept.Is this normal

Yes it's normal.

The scanner rounds off the frequency.

That scanner will handle NFM channels in the band you are trying to program. It is possible that the 5 at the end is not displayed, but 453.3375 and 453.337 are virtually the same and you should hear your department fine. As for other traffic, it is possible there are multiple users on the channel using PL codes to filter out unwanted traffic.

i did not find that the radio can display only 3 digits after the decimal point and how it rounds the frequency up or down.

It's actually NOT rounding the frequency off - it is masking the last digit.

That is a subtle, but significant difference.

Many of the older radios only displayed out to the 3rd digit after the decimal point
