I have always heard TSA Indy on 169.3000 136.5Hz pl with Voice Inversion.

Today I heard TSA on 169.3000 P25 with no encryption.

It sounded like a training or testing operation. They had agents in various locations of the terminal. One would describe the "target" by clothing, gender, height, etc...and the other agents had to tell him where the "target" was.

Not sure if it was training for agents, or if they were testing the radios, but I've never heard P25 at Indianapolis before.

Try 172.9000 and see if you hear P25 or 136.5 on the output.

Most use 169.3000 P25 as the input to 172.9000, yet
169.3000 is reported also as a Simplex channel

Agents?

Agents heard as in FAMS? or TSA Screening staff?

FAMS = arrest powers

TSA Officer/screener = NO arrest powers, regulatory enforcement only

Most likely it was TSA (BDO) Screeners, Behavior Detection Officers

Big difference

Nice catch by the way..enjoy the action
