I've noticed that TVFR sends only two additional engines and maybe a truck on most, if not all 3rd Alarms. That's interesting because in their Standards of Cover, it clearly states that 4 engines, 1 truck and other apparatus should go on 3rd Alarms. I don't know if that was just an error in the SoC, or something else..? I'm just confused.

Not radio related but here is my 2-cents... Site location, Red Flag fire days, water supply or hazmat, might have a bearing on what CAD recommends vs. standards of cover for a specific address, development, highway/intersection etc. Has the SOC been revised and you need a updated copy?

There is a noticeable change in alarm assignment for hydranted vs. non-hydranted area, Brush fire response etc. 9-1-1 reports can also change the event type BEFORE the tones go off.
