Howdy, first post here. Have spent many a night reading though.

Recently set up one of my radios to scan ICAWIN/EICAWIN with good results (haven't actually heard EICAWIN yet, but will next time I'm visiting the in-laws). I occasionally drive through Twin and would love to add that system to my radio as well.

I am bit too far away and the database is not showing the Channel ID’s for the TF P25 system. Is there anybody out there who has programmed this system and can provide the channel IDs using Uni-Trunker or SDR Trunker or something similar?

Many thanks in advance.

What scanner are you using? or are you using sdrs?

OK mis-understood what you were looking for, what do you need the channel IDs for?

Not needed to program Twin Falls P25

Using an apx. My understanding is the channel IDs are required basically the same way a pl code would be required to listen.

Thought you were using a scanner or sdr system, would not have jumped in if I had known it was a apx.

Hopefully someone familiar with an apx can jump in and help.

Nope, not going to work. You need a SYSTEM key provided by the system administrator. Sell the APX and buy a SDS150 scanner -- it'll be faster and far more useful in the long run.

This is actually not accurate information. The first sentence is a complete lie. The second sentence is partially true. The last sentence is a suggestion that is probably not necessary, since it seems he knows what he is doing, just looking for the System IDs for a specific system and has other systems working as intended in his radio.

Wise man once told me “don’t stand in front of the person who is doing something, telling them it’s not possible”.

I’m not asking for syskey, only channel id’s, as that is all I need to get this particular system up and running on my apx, as I have already done with other trunked systems on this radio, as mentioned in original post.

Yes thank you for understanding what I’m looking for.

The Channel IDs are probably the same as the ICAWIN Channel IDs, but I don't know for certain that is true.
That information has never been submitted by anyone for inclusion in the DB.

thank you @thewenk, I will give those a try and if they work, should I just let you know here or make a formal submission of that info?

I travel once in a while in that area and use an APX and would like to know the channel ID as well.
Thank you for posting this and also pointing out that APXs can be used correctly and are better than some scanner.
