Two Tone Detect on two computers

Hello. I seem to remember seeing somewhere that two tone detect can be setup on 2 separate computers to create a redundancy. However, I can't seem to find that again or find any other directions to do that. Could someone please provide some assistance or point me in direction where I could find some instruction? have a read about "FTP Redundancy" on about page 20 of the attached guide.
