TX-2/GRE PSR-800 Performance

I am looking for a scanner for mobile use while in a vehicle. I am looking at the TX-2 since it has a detachable faceplate. I currently have a GRE PSR-800 that was recently upgraded by Whistler. My question is regarding performance. The GRE seems to do well with a P25 non-simulcast system in Missouri. Would there be any reason to not expect a TX-2 to do as well?

The TRX-2 should perform equally as well as the GRE, if not slightly better. I've been playing with a TRX-2 at my home today which is surrounded by a 14 site P25 simulcast system (MPSCS / Michigan) and I was surprised to find it works flawlessly even then. No tricks, Remtronix antenna. Others have difficulty with some simulcast systems.
