While rolling back in to Corpus Christi, I started hearing what sounded like Nueces County traffic over the TXWarn system. Confirmed today that it's definitely CC traffic on TXWarn.

I'll try to identify site frequencies and will report back. Super cool if they've linked the new Corpus P25 network with the TXWarn.

Well, as luck would have it, it was just a fluke. For whatever reason, my scanner decided that since the TXWarn and the Coastal Bend Regional Interoperability Network have a few frequencies in common, then it thought I was picking up the TXWarn.
As soon as I sent the raw trunking data to the Pro 96 Decoder, it identified it as the CBRIN rather than TXWarn. The talkgroup and control frequencies also confirmed this.

Sorry for the false alarm. Wanted to share this in case anyone is confused like myself. I've attempted to pick up the TXWarn from Corpus Christi before without any luck. So maybe there was an updated frequency or whatnot that is now shared between the two systems. Anyways. Comments are welcome. Just a flub on my part. Lol.

All good, it happens to all of us time to time. I’d bet you that they will eventually bridge together GCI talkgroups though, even though TxWARN is Moto and CBIRN is L3Harris.

I know the CBRIN is supposed to be a pretty large system when all the agencies that are supposed to join end up joining...It's already grown tremendously over the last few months...We are sitting here watching and waiting...In the Nueces County and Portland side there have been some control channels change that weren't in the system...They are now...More and more talkgroups coming in...

That's nice. I'm happy to see my hometown departments joining the TXWarn. I've been in states with statewide P25 systems and that was pretty cool,

I guess what really surprised me about the scanner swapping systems is that they have different NACs. For whatever reason, I thought that the scanner took that into consideration. Guess not.
