Good morning,
First time poster here, hello everyone!
My old UBC220XLT has developed an issue: When I took it out of the drawer after quite some time of storage with the battery disconnected, I found that its memory was completely wiped.
Does anyone know how this model is designed? Is there a buffer battery inside (which might have been depleted and needs to be changed), or is there a cap or something for short-time power storage which just hasn't seen an external power source to recharge itself for a while?
In other words, is the memory loss due to "old age" or does the device always need to be stored with a battery connected by design?
Regards
