I went out to Euclid last night and witnessed these lights on 4 separate occurrences. The would appear and then get very bright the last 5 seconds of about 4 minutes while staying stationary, Then dim out and move across the sky in a southerly direction.
There were about 20 of us there including a crew from MUFON. They also had a crew in Lakewood and were on the phone communicating. When our light dimmed theirs brightened. This means that the plane was turning back towards the direction of Hopkins.
We were also tracking flights into Hopkins and exactly 6 minutes after we saw the light move south a plane would land at Hopkins from Chicago.
We had maps of flight plans and also of the Cleveland area. We mapped out coordinates and what we were looking out at and it was smack dab in the middle of where a Chicago flight path does a turn.

The Investigator did some measurements and figured the light to be 20 miles out. After talking to a pilot planes at that distance approaching Hopkins would be at 180 mph.
This math works out to explain what we saw.
'We did film some video with some high powered zoom. All we got was a flashing ball with red and green flickers. A man told me that it was the planes lights and the atmosphere was making it look strange at such a distance.
As we were leaving the light appeared again but this time when it dimmed and headed south we could clearly see the lights on the wings instead of it fading out.
I wanted to believe this but after seeing clearly with my eyes last night I know this is a plane.
