UHP Dispatch in Toole County?

Greetings from Reno...
Old trucker coming out of retirement as a favor to a friend, moving a couple of
bulk trailers from NV to WY via I-80 come mid-April. Been writing the new UCA
system to my 536HP, got the necessary sites along 80 and pretty much all
the TGs thanks to the great contributors on this Forum. Only one that has me
scratching my head is UHP dispatch for Toole County. Has anyone been able to
pin that one down or should I just engage ID search at Wendover and hope for
the best lol?

no… there is none in the DB… i would suggest like you said engaging ID search…

The listing shows (and I have heard traffic on) TG 6418 as the primary county LE/UHP channel, and I've heard C-C traffic on TG 1877. ID search will get you a lot of results, but not what you are looking for (most likely).

UHP Dispatch in Tooele County is done through Tooele County Law 1 TG 6418 with their Car 2 Car channel on TG 1877 as mentioned previously. There is not a separate TG for them.

It looks like each county UHP, has a separate channel 3, Car to Car. Starting with Channel 1870=Box Elder, and on down the line.

In the heavily populated counties, UHP has their own dispatch channels, and those are listed in RR database.
In Counties like Tooele and others, UHP is dispatched along with the Sheriff, usually on the LAW-1 talkgroup.
Keep in mind that UHP units use their badge numbers as their ID. Example: (UHP 354)
Tooele 354, Go ahead, Tooele I'm going 10-60 on a blue Chevy Pickup at mile marker 86 westbound. License ABC-123
Most UHP IDs are 3 digits, but some are 2 digits.

Look in the Tooele county talk group. The uhp and dispatch are the same dispatch for the Tooele city , and county sheriff
