Check the system's wiki page to see if someone compiled the info there (people seldom take the time to do it, info is often incomplete or outdated, can be quite time consuming if the system is large) if not you'll have to listen and gather the info yourself

Either take notes as the Radio IDs populate to the scanners display, or use secondary SDR software to log and name and accumulate the information.

Yep, I'm using sdr, paying attention to radio id's and who people identify themselves as, then entering that info into the radios text file as I go. I'm assuming most mobile radios will stay in the vehicle for a while, but it's easy enough to confirm if you have the rift label the next time you hear them!

Southeast Texas Regional Radio System
That's one system I don't have any data on. I have most of the systems around North-East Texas, even some of the Northern reaches of TxWARN. I need to do a road trip to Houston this year, and if I'm down that way I might try tuning in that system on my mobile monitoring post, but until then I'm not going to be much help.

One tip is most mobile units will have 7- or 8-digit radio ID's, since they are mapped across the state. DPS units begin with 5. Dispatch consoles, Hospitals and other fixed-point locations will have a shorter length ID (I've seen 3- and 4-digit IDs for those applications).

According to this old thread, it looks like most users on Southeast Texas would start with 3, while a user from TxWARN (some high-speed chases on I-10?) would have a radio ID that starts with 1 or 2.

That said, there are plenty of others in the Houston/Beaumont area that could likely chime in with some answers.

Our Dispatch are 5 digit numbers (48***) and our units are 7 digit numbers (487****) I was just looking for a list of all of them.
