Has anyone made a UID lookup txt file (UIlookup.txt) for a 325p2 scanner for the Westchester county fire/ems p25 system for Proscan?
like:
32006 LOGTEXT=E12 Harrison
32008 LOGTEXT=E13 Harrison

or, has anyone made entries in a 536/sd100/200 scanner database for the same info? The data is available in the database but, as far as I can find, not in a form readily exportable into proscan or the database of the 536HP. I can copy all of it manually, but hoping someone has done this already. Thanks...

That's the wiki and not really the database. I am sure there is a way to download that wiki info into a csv and reformat it into the format your looking for. I am just not familiar as I do all my uid logging with DSDPlus and Unitrunker

Can you provide a link so I can see if it can be imported using the Get Clipboard function.

rdxny,
Try this to see if it will work form you. One problem I see is you want the Apparatus and District to be combined for the channel name. The Get Clipboard function allows only one or the other but not both at the same time so that will have to be manually edited.

1. Create a group for the UIDs or use an existing group.
2. Select the data like in this image.

3. Click the group name in the tree so it will be selected then click the Get Clipboard button.
4. In the Get Clipboard, select Channel Name for the Apparatus and TGID for the Radio ID column like this image.

5. Click the Import button.
6. Final result should be like in this image.

Thanks Bob, that worked and I can add the additional apparatus number if desired. I appreciate it!
(Is there a downside, performance wise in the scanner, to adding around 250 UID talkgroup entries in the 325p2? Does it have to scan those, slowing down the scan rate?)

It shouldn't. TGIDs/UIDs are not scanned, just sites.
