I am leaving tomorrow for London, Exeter, Durham, and Scotland. With Tetra all over the UK is it a complete waste of space to bring my Uniden BCD436HP to listen to Fire or Police? Is it all encrypted?

I am going on a cruise to mediterannean , like last trip in 2016 I brought 436 , this trip I will do the same , I don't care that I cant hear FD + PD its been on lockdown since forever, so i will find other things to listen to
