Being based in south Jersey you may want to look into subscribing to Joe Cardani's "Philadelphia Area Communications Guide" it contains a huge amount of info (not just freqs) on several counties in the tri-state area. Check http://www.phillyscanner.com/ for more info.

Moorestown is using the BurlCo TRS due to a fire last month in their municipal building. They normally operate on 500.4125 analog.

Not to wake up this old thread, but I just realized what Jeff said. Will they eventually go back to their conventional frequency, or will they stay with the TRS?

I believe that 65488 may be Mororola Radio Maintenance
18896 is North West PZB-1
18224 is North PZB-1

(PZB = Primary Zone Backup)

These are sometimes used for chit chat secondary talkgroups.

Does anyone know who maintains this system? Does the county employ their own radio techs or does motorola cover it. Or maybe a combination of both.

65488 is used by the county radio techs as a back up TG, it's not even listed on the 'official' list. The county has 2 techs, they mainly provide installs (for a fee) and programming. Wireless Communications does the site work.
Unknown if Moorestown will go back to their conventional repeater, I've heard some chit chat on there, but no dispatches.

At the risk of sounding overly selfish, I'd prefer to see Moorestown stay on the TRS; whenever I'm in western Delaware County (Newtown Square/Broomall areas), the Moorestown PD signal on 500.4125 often comes in stronger than West Chester (Pa.) PD, which also uses 500.4125 as it's F-1.

That said, I think it's ultimately going to depend on how the insurance company chooses to deal with the damage caused by the fire and whether or not it's in the township's best interests from a financial standpoint to restore it's conventional system for dispatch purposes. If PD is going to use the TRS on a regular basis, then the township might keep the conventional system as a back-up, but time will tell...
