hello purchased an older uniden 996t i would like to scan the new jersey state police troops a-c could i get a little help on as to set this up im not a complety newbie but still learning so if anyone can help me as to what type of system i should use to scan this thank you for anyones help

the best way to scan njsp is to find your closest tower. load only those control channels. you can find the info on radioreference njsp page . what town are you in?
