Uniden bc-350-c..?

Anyone own one? I just wanted to know how this one preforms, i dont care about trunk tracking for this one just the recieve end of it, and the audio clarity/loudness?

Any coments would be nice

i have a BC350A which is the exact same except for no 800mhz and less channels. audio sounds great, programming can be a little annoying but what do u expect with no keypad.

does the backlight stay on, on this unit???

since its an exact version of mine, yes. bright enough u can see in any light condition but not too bright for a glare to interfere

I have a BC350C and I love it clear audio, backlight is bright enough to be seen in most conditions!

yes, the 350c is an excellant scanner if you do not need trunking or digital. It has really good sound quality plenty of loudness, ect. I have the bct 15 and the 996t, and for conventional systems I had just as soon have the 350c! (Although it lacks a lot of features that the 996r and bct 15 have), but just to listen to conventional systems it is a great little scanner for the price. About $100.00 at wall-mart.

I had one. It was a nice scanner but not a great primary scanner for me. After I filled the 50-channels and after struggling with no alpha tags I replaced it with a newer model. The audio was nice and the screen display was clear. It's hard to program or to jump directly to a frequency but it was a nice scanner.
