uniden bc125AT

Hello,
I have a Uniden BC125AT that just stop working ...
Is there someone local in the Hayward 94541 (grove way st ) that can maybe take a quick look at it. I don't mind paying a couple bucks for the time. it all of a sudden making a sound. everything else works.

First, if you lost Hayward Police this is because they changed frequencies to the EBRCS. You still should receive Hayward Fire. If this is not the issue, what kind of noise is it making? And you still are receiving transmissions OK but there is some other noise on there too? Does the noise still happen if you move the radio outside or down the block? Might be local TV, wifi, chargers, other stuff that is plugged in that locks up your scanner.

everything on the screen works well. just no sound .but the speaker does work because it beeps when batteries are low. Do not know much on what's been programmed into it. i have been happy with it for a year
