BC125AT: Uniden BC125AT

Has anyone purchased and used this scanner for NASCAR? I am purchasing one and am definitely NOT a scanner guru by any stretch of the imagination. I have a few questions.

1. Can you purchase a stronger antenna for it or is the 512Mhz one it comes with sufficient?
2. Can anyone recommend a good set of headphones for it and a splitter? I assume it's a 3.5mm headphone jack?
3. Is it difficult to program NASCAR frequencies into this scanner prior to the 2025 Daytona 500?

the 512Mhz would be fine.
in fact many folks want less of an antenna so as not to hear things far away.
