I have a Uniden bcd325p2. My question is when scanning preprogrammed frequency in scan mode, when there's activity, it pauses, during the transmission hear what I want to say it acts like another memory has priority activated, which it doesn't I checked at least twice, nothing is checked, and this pause on every memory channel feel like priority on every other memory channel. I program with a registered copy of scanner master, and no, I am staying with it. Anyone who uses scanner master have similar issue? And, secondly, anyone who uses the stock antenna, or who uses other than the stock, what do you use?

Thanks.

I don't own a 325p2 but the stock antenna is usually the first thing I toss in the junk drawer and forget about until years later if I have the ambition to do some spring cleaning. What antenna I use depends on what band I'm scanning at the moment. I've owned probably 10 of these Remtronix antennas over the years, always had good luck with 700 & 800mhz where simulcast distortion isn't a factor. For the lower bands, consider the Comet W100RX. An Amazon reviewer who gave the latter antenna a 5 star review was nice enough to post a pic of what it looks like on a 325p2

Do you mean ARC XT? If so. please attach your .rsf programming file so I can take a look at it. You will need to zip the file to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

It sounds like Close Call or one of the priority modes might be turned on. Each of these will cause interruptions in the received signal. Check to see if you have any of these turned on:

Close Call
Weather Alert Priority
Priority Scan

Checked, nothing, but let me start that scanner program and check there.

Is there any indications on the display, like close call, weather alert priority, or Primary scan?

RMason, only WX on the display.
Then weather priority is enabled. This will cause will the interruptions in the received signal you described.

Enabling the weather alert priority feature allows the scanner to check the weather channels for a weather alert signal and still scan or search. It will interrupt a transmission while it checks the weather channels.

One method to turn Weather Priority off is:
To toggle Weather Alert Priority on or off Hold on any channel and press Func then 0(wx). Press Hold to resume.
