I wasn't aware that Uniden did any programming. Did you give them any information regarding what you wanted programmed? Did they give you any information as to what they programmed? They they indicate what QK's (Quick Keys) were programed and for what?
The old link that led to programming done by Uniden has now expired:
Pay To Program
Keep in mind I am super novice and new to all of this. I sent this into Uniden to be trunk programmed. When I turn on unit, I can see all the different agencies being scanned very quickly.
But, I have no idea how to monitor. How do I unlock/open the scan to hear what is happening?
Sorry for the ignorant questions -
Did you purchase your scanner, already programmed, or did you actually send it to someone for programming?
The three dealers best known for doing programming are
ScannerMaster,
Bearcat Warehouse, &
Zip Scanners.
Your location, Rosharon, TX, is near the border of Ft. Bend and Brazoria counties, west of Harris County and Houston. The main public safety agencies in those two counties, as well as Houston, Harris County, and other cities and counties in your area, use the TxWARN P25 system.

Unfortunately, the main sites in Brazoria & Fort Bend are simulcast. The scanner you have, the BCD325P2, can have significant problems trying to monitor simulcast sites. In some cases, you can improve things with a directional antenna, a smaller antenna, or the attenuate setting. More about Simulcast is in the Wiki:

First, though, can you post a copy of the programming for scanner? If you don't yet have a copy, read the scanner into software such as FreeSCAN, ProScan, or ARC-XT. Save the programming into a file, stored in an easy to find & access spot on your PC.
A file from
ProScan can be posted as-is. It's a text file. Files from
FreeSCAN or
ARC-XT need to be saved in a zipped (compressed file) in order to attach to a post. If you can post your file, then we can take a closer look, to see if there are errors or omissions that need to be corrected.
