I have programed the Ontario Provincial Police and the M.O.H on Bell FleetNet-Ontario Provincial Government Zone 1/Motorola. The O.P.P come in nice and strong but the ambulance does not.
Do not no why. Have not had this problem in the past when programming scanner on Radio Reference.
Any suggestions.

Thank You
Mark

Check the bandplan in the scanner. There was a dB issue with another model that came down to that. If needed, program it in your SW or manually in the scanner.

I am used to using RR to setup my scanner. Not familiar with bandplan and dB. SW I assume means swithch.
That is what RR is for. To make it simple. This should not happen when setting up the scanner with RR.
I will have to search the book to see what your talking about if I can figure it out.
Thank You.

You're correct - it should not. But, things happen sometimes. Check the bandplan in the Site settings. dB is database (as in RR). SW is SoftWare.

There is nothing that can be done on your end regarding this. View some archived threads in the Ontario Radio Discussion Forum that discussed this previously.

Not all users of FleetNet broadcast out at the same volume. Unfortunately, this is system wide with FleetNet.
