The link “https://soundestlink.com/” in the email is a URL redirect provided by Omnisend. They provide click analytics for email campaigns; they must be keeping a eye on who clicked on the email for performance metrics.

Thought one usually saw the destination website somewhere in that string. Guess that’s changed.

A lot of companies do this. Or they insert an image to track if the e-mail was opened or not. Just another reason why I don't render images or HTML, CSS and JavaScript in e-mail. Looks like crap but I'm used to it. If I know I can trust the e-mail and I need all the rendering I'll temp enable it.
