My numerical address is 1321. If I walk out my front door to the neighbor's front door across the street, his address is 2243. UPS, USPS. DHL and FedEx hate us.

Your friend lives a sheltered life. In his/her town, maybe that true but it's not universal. Locally, east/west house numbers start at the city limits/state line/Chattahoochee River. Downtown, for instance, the first numbers are single- and double-digit addresses. Crossing into the next block, starts the 100s; one more block is 200s, etc. The area is neither upper class nor mobile homes.

Got my unit back yesterday, much sooner than expected. The packing slip says they repaired the cold solder joint issue and replaced my battery.

Now if USPS can find my Unication G4 that I sent out for repair last week that they lost when it was being shipped back to me, that’d be great!

Mine came back this morning, so about three weeks. Seems fine.

That's the problem Fedex! I just talk to a lady friend who was working for Fedex and just quit. She said they just throw the packages and that is what she did because they work long hours and want to get home. Then she laughed about it. Which I saw no humor in it at all!

I know this is OT, but I had an issue with my Yaesu FT-991a being non responsive and I had to send it back to Yaesu. It was gone from middle of November 2022 till between Christmas and new years. The only reason I'm messaging you is because I looked up the problem and saw you had the same or similar issue. At the time I did not know the name of the part that failed, front panel. I had my radio off for about 6 months(got really busy at work) turned it on and unable to even use the touch screen. After talking to Yaesu tech support for a few minutes they told me to send it in. Lucky I had just bought it November 2021 so it was still under warranty. Got it back working and no explanation why. Have a good day.
