Other folks have covered the basics, so I will just add that it took about three weeks to repair the volume knob on my SDS100 back in April. And there was a bonus. Either they replaced the power cord or replaced the plug in on the side because it's a much tighter fit than it was. That was kind of an issue for me but not enough that I even mentioned it, but I did appreciate what they did. The odd thing is that their web site never acknowledged that they received it, but one day it was on my doorstep raring to go. I sent them a check in the box with the scanner and it took them another three weeks to cash it. I was beginning to think it was a freebie, even though it was well out of warranty.
