When I program my Uniden SDS100 and under:

Set Audio Type

Digital Only

And then read the programming with the Butel ARC536PRO it displays P25 under SQ Mode.

When I scan channels that are programmed Digital Only, even though it shows P25 in the software, it does seem to decode other digital modes, too.

Is that how it is designed to work?

Also, if I select Analog Only, how will it behave? Will it disregard digital signals?

Yes, and not always. :) I've got a few FLs that are digital-only, and I'm glad the SDS100 has this feature. Since I have all digital modes activated, it's been useful in listening to DMR, NXDN, MotoTRBO and P25, even in a rural county like Humboldt (California), and with analogue-only, that helps in keeping the SDS100 from ignoring the packet repeaters on the ISS when it passes overhead (usually no voice on the overnight passes). :)
