Is there a reason each scanner has a thread instead of a forum? I know as a newbie trying to find stuff on my scanner ona 50+ page thread is kinda of hard.

Well it would really crowd the forum to have each and every model with its own thread. So obviously they are grouped by manufacturer.
The heinously long threads for currently released scanners have been closed and unstickied.
In the future we hope to only allow threads of that type to exist for pre-production only. And I'd really appreciate if people would not reply with useless posts like, "oH,, ME TOOO!1"
I'm sure you all are giddy about new releases but you must respect people who go to these threads for good information and do not want to wade through criticism and "what I think."
