Just noticed while reading the owners manual about the SD card, the instructions are for the SDS-100. It has not been updated to reflect the new card location.

I can report that today while I was in Dyersburg Tn I went near the National Weather Service Tower Site my TRX-1's had Intermod and frontend overload while the SDS150 could still receive a VHF Analog Signal from 30 miles away no intermod or frontend overload. Yes all 3 were on the outside antenna connected to my Stridsberg.
Come on Brothers and Sisters I know 2 days into the week there are more that have the SDS150 that have not said a word.
Are you ashamed you spent $1000 and do not want people to know?
I am very happy with the AUDIO and PERFORMANCE.

I am very happy with the results on analog. I am receiving stations from at least 20 miles away. Our county sheriff operates on an 800 mhz conventional system, and comes in very scratchy on my SDS 100. It is crystal clear on the 150. The same results on our local airport, which is about 3 miles away. I can hear the tower and ground frequencies, which I was not able to hear at all before. So far I am impressed. Now we wait for additional batteries which I hope will be available soon.

I noticed preemptive priority. Is this a change where on a trunked system it will check for traffic on a higher priority talkgroup and if present, switch to that? Then, is it possible to apply the technology to SDS 100 and 200 scanners?

Taking a WAG, I’d say it still only works on Motorola 3600 systems.

Does anyone know if the 150 has the filters like the 100 has?
It would be nice to not have to set up sites with the endless filter comparisons.

For those who already own this scanner, can you please compare 150 with a BCD536HP, particularly on VHF analog.
Also, for grins and giggles, can you compare the 150 to the 125AT?
Please provide comment on the sensitivity as well as selectivity. Thanks

Regarding the SDS150

Live in Canada stuff around is going encrypted :( fire not yet at least the county systems they may be a while yet!

I am an owner of sds-100, and a couple of sds-200 by far the best scanners I have owned in 30+years

I am excited about the gps portion sds150.

I am wondering though what exactly does the BT feature allow to pair to the scanner?
Whats the idea behind the additonal BT capability?

Any of the batteries from the sds100 compatiable?

Any accessories for this new sds150 as of yet.

Still not in Canada, I may purchase from the US and ship it.

Looking forward to your response
thanks

steve

@sonm10
Read post 46 above and there are a total of 3 different threads with info and videos.

@tormedic
All of your questions are answered by the Beta Testers and a few that already have them in hand.
Batteries are not interchangeable
Only 3 cases at Scanner Master
Bluetooth works with Android and Apple Apps for Phones or IPADS nice remote screen with Audio and Touch Screen Controls.

I am very happy with the AUDIO and PERFORMANCE.
Mine came yesterday. It charged last night, so I'm hoping to make some observations today regarding the performance compared to the SDS100. I did notice right away that I'm receiving CHP low band better than with the 100.
