Over the last while I've complied a fairly long list of talkgroups and based on registrations and calls on them I was able to take a pretty good guess at who they belong to. If anyone can confirm confirm if these are correct it would be great.

37xxx being DND would make sense as the radio ID's seem to be in the 7xxxx range used by other federal agencies.

I only see them pop up occasionally on the Churchill PEI site. They seem to be used primarily in either NB or NS. 641xx also appears to be mostly 7xxxx radios, but some 42xxxx radios as well.

Some of the 37xxx are Coast Guard
37000 CCG SAR
37017 CCG OPS 1
37018 CCG OPS 2
37022 CCG OPS 6

a lot of the 71xxx RIDS are CCG
eg
71322 and 323 JRCC
71452 CCGS Cap Nord
71461 CCGS Cape Spry

486XX PEI RCMP

48703 probably Kensington PD (48701-705 likely Kensington PD)

"Dockyard HQ this is Shearwater HQ loud and clear over"

Military users on 37065 this morning doing radio checks, then being told to switch to MIL MA 2. Traffic is being logged on BCFY Calls. Unknown/Unknown Group Calls Live

705xx RID's being logged are not active on any other unencrypted TG, at least not any being sent to calls.

Based on the calls node it was seen on and the first call it seems like it's probably CFB Halifax. Seems there is a security exercise going on there this week.

If anyone in the area has event logging in SDRTrunk enabled and wants to share their logs I have some scripts that I use to parse all the registration and call events. Might help identify what other talkgroups they are using, encrypted or otherwise.

Got a few more additions to my list:

48362 - Looks to be PEI Conservation
48540 - I've only seen one registration on this talkgroup from the Miscouche Fire Department. Has anyone further west on the island seen this one?
52262 and 52263 - Likely NB Department of Education, not sure what part of the province these are used in.
53092 - Likely a fire department in NB

I'm further west but I've never logged it personally. I have heard from others though that this is correct. Wellington/Summerside sites are outside my range. Need to really invest in an outdoor antenna!

Likely a good bet as it's the only one missing from the DNR group.

Activity on 19000 on the Charlottetown site, Nova Scotia GSAR. Units heard were Rescue 1, GSAR command, and transport. Unknown/Unknown Group Calls Live

Sounds like they're in the Truro area, near Victoria Park.

Looks like I have those most of the radios on that group labeled as Halifax GSAR. Sounds like they were checking up on homeless people. Didn’t hear anyone name the talkgroup unfortunately.

Strange seeing Halifax agencies pop up on the Charlottetown site. Usually I only pick up off-island radios on the Churchill site.

Not an unidentified talkgroup... but on 3065 AMB TRAV, has anyone every heard units other than PEI? Anytime I've listened it's always Island EMS units traveling to NB or NS. I've never heard ANB or EHS on this channel, especially since EHS went encrypted and have their own AMB TRAV of 3074.

If it's only PEI using it, I'm going to migrate it to the PEI EMS category.

Nice to see some of these talkgroups being identified over the last week.

I managed to find Nova Scotia's TMR Reference Guide for GSAR on their website while trying to identify some of these. Unless one of the groups already in the database is incorrect, then it unfortunately doesn't help identify 19000.

As far as 3065, I don't think I've seen any calls other than Island EMS/Medacom on there.

That lines up with my findings as well. Unless there are any objections, I'm going to migrate it to PEI EMS category as they seem like the sole user.

I think NS EMS went away from 3065when they went encrypted. I did a real quick search and the last time i heard other than IEMS was late 2020 and that was NB EMS

Logged some calls on 48308 today by PEI EMO staff referring to it as EMO-OPS1. I submitted an update to the database.

Had activity back in early December on 48308-312. No voice just registrations. Likely someone spinning the channel knob. Will assume these are EMO Ops 1 thru 5 but will have to monitor for confirmation.

I'm assuming EMO OPS 48300 will likely be used for interoperability with EMO and 48308-12 will be internal Ops.

I logged several calls back in the fall sometime, they were all radio checks. One of the radios I logged also registered on 48312 so I suspect your assumption is correct. One of the calls today said something about EMO-OPS and EMO-OPS1 not being the same thing so I think these ones are probably for internal EMO use.

Seems like 830xx radios are used by EMO staff and 831xx radios are either loaners or issued to other agencies by EMO.

83002 to 83031 were new back in Nov/Dec, came with the 308 -312 TGs I have logged 21 radios in that range so far.
83100 to about 83126 date back to 2015 and have been used for events (Cavendish Beach Music, Bridgefest , parades, etc)

Some have encrypted TGs installed. possibly permanently assigned to municipal Police
