I created a new catagory in the DB listed as Unidentified Talkgroups.

With the new HP1 firmware and those running talkgroup searches, I decided it may be for the collective good to nail down these talkgroups for their use. I am listing these as "other" in the DB so those who don't want to listen can ignore them.

I am also adding a "-U" to the TG name so those who hear them will know they are not known use TG.

If anyone can confirm their use, please do a DB submission and note that its is (was) an unidentified TG and your providing the correct information. Not all updates will be processed right away so that other peoples notes can be compared.

Also feel free to post in this thread.

ummm.... The rule got changed long time ago. RR doesn't want unidentified talkgroups in the database.
It would go on the wiki page now for this system. Might be better to start the list on the wiki. So the users can edit the notes for each talkgroup.

6. DATABASE ORGANIZATION
6.1. GENERAL
The goal of the RR database is to catalog accurate, confirmed data contributed by our vast group of users. “Unidentified” data is specifically to be excluded from the database. The database is not intended to be a collection of notes or guesses – please use the forums and wiki for this type of collaboration. Entries in the database do not necessarily have to be specific with respect to their identification (although this is ideal) but they may not be completely unspecified.
