Fulton county is now dispatching Union City and Chattahoochee Hills on South Patrol, fire is being dispatched on county fire-from what I have heard the DMR system is going away.

The switch happened 1 March. Now to track down what they will be dispatched. I know Chatt Hills Fire was being dispatched on TG 47504 showing a single user ID (both dispatch and units) of 13361.

update

Union City Police Department and Palmetto Police Department are both being dispatched on the Fulton County PD and the Fulton County Traffic PD talk groups within the old Fulton County SmartNet 2 system. Union city's old DMR system is still active. while I monitor Fulton County for their dispatch. I hear very little traffic on their DMR system but they do still use it as a tac or backup. Until the entire county makes the switch to the new p25 system.

I've updated the Fulton system to show all the TAC channels assigned to FCFD and added notes to each jurisdiction about FCFD being the primary dispatch center.

The TAC channels may/may not be jurisdiction assigned - many times FCFD and others are on several different calls, so they may just use the next available TAC channel.

Next month, if they are lucky, when the new DTRS comes on line, we should see a new uniformity to the channels.

Thanks for the update. I see you just made some changes. I'm getting my database ready for my trip up to Atlanta.

Is 47472 Fairborn Fire Tac a Dispatch or Tac. It's listed as dispatch. And is 46736 Palmetto PD dispatched by the county or Fairburn.

Fulton County is dispatching ALL south Fulton Fire jurisdictions on the main fire channel (TG 47152). Sometimes you will not hear any dispatch as the tone out goes out over TG 47159 and if they don't drop the key, the dispatch will continue.

Chattahoochee Hills, Fairburn & Union City are being dispatched off of the old FCPD Traffic channel (TG 46608). The units actually ID theirselves as "ChattHills", "Fairburn" & "Union City" plus unit number. A UCPD cruiser was involved in a MVA tonight and heard UCPD 1 (user ID 13480) come up on the channel. The officer and his K9 were OK.

When you say "ALL south Fulton Fire jurisdictions," do you mean East Point, College Park and Hapeville too (who I think have their own 911 centers and are (or were) on the Atlanta DTRS)? Or do you just mean Fairburn, Union City and Chat Hills?

He means only the ones that are on the Fulton TRS and not the Atlanta DTRS. Your last line is correct.

Is 46736 still in use as Palmetto / Fairburn Police? I know the site is tagged "Palmetto is dispatched on the Fulton County TRS". Before Palmetto was dispatched by Fairburn but Fairborn has moved over to 46608. Is this TG still valid as a dispatch?
Thanks
Dan

The Juice

b7spectra"s information is correct.

Now Rollman....

Plan and simple no, East Point, College Park, & Forest Park along with Hapeville's fire departments. Are still using the systems they've been on. All of them except Forest Park are on Atlanta's P25 phase 1 system. Forest Park PD & FD are on their own P25 phase 2 system. The Information in the R. R. database is correct.

73 for now
