Understood. Trying to figure out how to setup SDRTrunk now...After looking at the system in database, Lower Colorado River Authority this is a TDMA Phase II type system and Unitrunker won't do much with it. You'll be able to see calls but you won't hear anything. I think sdrTrunk does Phase II P25 though.
Thank you for this information! And fwiw, should you try a phase one or any other system type Unitrunker handles, you leave the signal vfo set to mute. Set voice vfo to your speakers.
Your signature indicates that you are streaming using and SDR, what are you running it with? SDRTrunk is giving me issues where I'm intermittently hearing traffic. After looking at the system in database, Lower Colorado River Authority this is a TDMA Phase II type system and Unitrunker won't do much with it. Yes I am. I have been using the NooElec R820T Mini dongles. The main thing that you can do is get the PPM set correctly along with doing the calibration that it wants you to do. The system I feed is a P25 Phase I, but it is Simulcast throughout the county. Where I am located in the county, I really don't get any of the simulcast issues as my 536HP scanner picks it up just fine. I am probably not going to be much help with a Phase II system like you are trying to get as I don't have one around me to listen to. There are others on here that may be of more help like possibly @GTR8000, whom I just tagged in this post so that he would see it. I see him in here a lot along with the Google group so he may be able to guide you a bit more on it.Your signature indicates that you are streaming using and SDR, what are you running it with? If you set logging on in Unitrunker you will be able export to Excel and then open the logs with open office or Libre Office Calc then select one of the tabs at the bottom. You will find a list of the TG and the hits for each.Well.... I imported the sites from RR that have several control channels. The county I am looking to scan uses about four sites, which all have several sites, however there are maybe 5 talkgroups I am looking to hear from. I'm trying to get the main site setup first, as most traffic should lighting up on that site
Im being told that the system i am looking to listen to is not compatible with Unitrunker as it is Phase II. So I'm not trying SDRTrunker but i have no idea what im doing with it...If you set logging on in Unitrunker you will be able export to Excel and then open the logs with open office or Libre Office Calc then select one of the tabs at the bottom. The logging that Unitrunker offers should still work on the system your trying to sort out, just not the audio decode. The log would have a list of the TGs with the number of hits. Pick a handful of the most busy and use the info to program the scanner or sort out SDRtrunk.Im being told that the system i am looking to listen to is not compatible with Unitrunker as it is Phase II.
