Trying to scan LCRA ( Lower Colorado River Authority) on the Seguin Site. If squelch is set to -60, I hear static, so maybe that is my issue but I have no clue.
I can see lots of traffic in but am not hearing anything other than Schertz FD Dispatch.
Maybe someone can help....

And fwiw, should you try a phase one or any other system type Unitrunker handles, you leave the signal vfo set to mute. Set voice vfo to your speakers.

Thank you for this information!

Looking to find who was previously broadcasting Guadalupe East and Guadalupe West. Hoping they can help me with getting this setup correctly

After looking at the system in database, Lower Colorado River Authority this is a TDMA Phase II type system and Unitrunker won't do much with it. You'll be able to see calls but you won't hear anything. I think sdrTrunk does Phase II P25 though.
Your signature indicates that you are streaming using and SDR, what are you running it with? SDRTrunk is giving me issues where I'm intermittently hearing traffic.

Yes I am. I have been using the NooElec R820T Mini dongles. The main thing that you can do is get the PPM set correctly along with doing the calibration that it wants you to do. The system I feed is a P25 Phase I, but it is Simulcast throughout the county. Where I am located in the county, I really don't get any of the simulcast issues as my 536HP scanner picks it up just fine. I am probably not going to be much help with a Phase II system like you are trying to get as I don't have one around me to listen to. There are others on here that may be of more help like possibly @GTR8000, whom I just tagged in this post so that he would see it. I see him in here a lot along with the Google group so he may be able to guide you a bit more on it.

How did you set the system up? Most phase 2 including the one I monitor is set up as phase one. I am sure there are exceptions.

Well.... I imported the sites from RR that have several control channels. The county I am looking to scan uses about four sites, which all have several sites, however there are maybe 5 talkgroups I am looking to hear from. I'm trying to get the main site setup first, as most traffic should lighting up on that site

If you set logging on in Unitrunker you will be able export to Excel and then open the logs with open office or Libre Office Calc then select one of the tabs at the bottom. You will find a list of the TG and the hits for each.

Im being told that the system i am looking to listen to is not compatible with Unitrunker as it is Phase II. So I'm not trying SDRTrunker but i have no idea what im doing with it...

The logging that Unitrunker offers should still work on the system your trying to sort out, just not the audio decode. The log would have a list of the TGs with the number of hits. Pick a handful of the most busy and use the info to program the scanner or sort out SDRtrunk.

You can setup SDRTrunk with the RR Import. Here is a couple snips of the system you are trying to do.

System Setup:

LCRA-SDRTrunk.PNG

Talkgroup Tab:

LCRA2-SDRTrunk.PNG

It will be setup as others have said, a Phase 1 system as that is what the control channels are on a Phase 2 system. In the System setup you need to make new alias list, then Create the channel configuration. Then go to Talkgroup tab and then either select what talkgroups you want to import or import them all.

Hope this helps you with getting the system created in sdrTrunk. As others have said, you can log the system in Unitrunker but you won't hear any voice.

Just because the system is listed as Phase 2 doesn't necessarily mean it is a phase two system. In the case of LCRA, there is Phase 2 activity from all of the local users however those on the system strictly for interop purposes can and do run Phase 1 on the system. So really just depends on what's going on in this case.
