I have the latest UT installed. When I did a RR import of the EDACS system I monitor, it created a couple of issues.
The first issue I don't think really is a big deal, but I'd like to resolve it anyway if possible. When I go to view channels, it's showing 10 channels as site 0, all of the frequencies are showing 0.00000. After those, there are the 10 channels that have frequencies assigned (that I'm assuming were imported from RR) and have site 1 assigned.. I'm wondering how I consolidate these entries so that UT displays the appropriate frequencies next to the LCN. In the documentation, it is mentioned that after a while you can delete site 0. I tried this, but it just rebuilt site 0...so, I'm confused how to do it properly.
The next issue is really annoying! After the import, the CT column now displays numbers instead of Ana or Dat. It shows 4 instead of Ana and 3 instead of Dat. I've seen a similar issue discussed in recent thread, but my problem is not exactly the same. It NEVER displays Ana or Dat after the import....ONLY the numbers 3 & 4. And IIRC, that was an issue with earlier versions - again, I am using the latest UT.
I've been working on these two issues for the past few hours and am stuck...any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Holek;

The confusion behind EDACS is the lack of strong system identity. EDACS broadcasts a site number but nothing resembling a system ID - so Unitrunker uses the site number as if it was a system ID. In this context, site 0 means "this" site.

What you want to do is move the channels so they appear under site 0 (which the program should be doing for you - but that's another story). Here's a hack to get around this mess. Exit the program, open the HZ file in a text editor like Notepad. The first column is the site number. Delete the lines belonging to site zero. For the channels belonging to site 1, change the site number from a 1 to a zero.

This problem appeared in the last couple of releases so it's a relatively new bug. As a work-around, restart the program. BTW, what's in your SYS file for this system?

thanks for the prompt reply! your hard work with developing UT and dedication to helping users through this forum is much appreciated!!!
i did what you told me with modifying the HZ file and it seems to have the desired results. the only weird thing is that almost immediately, there was a new LCN-5 (the control channel) created as site 1 and the frequency 0.00000. not a big deal though...
attached is my SYS file for the system i'm working with (renamed to .TXT)

thanks again for your time!

UPDATE: the issue with the numbers displaying in the CT column starts when i select View, Sys. restarting the program and avoiding that particular view resolves the issue...

Cool - that should make finding / fixing the problem much easier.
