So I decided to setup Unitrunker V1 and DSDFastlane so I could listen to MTO. After setting everything up I can see their signal and voice channel but I don't get any voice, I don't know why other than they are encrypted which I don't believe they are, any ideas on this.

I see that in the database for the Middlesex Byron tower that 142.485 is a voice channel, but when I enter it in my scanner it sounds like a CC not a voice channel, and 142.905 as a CC but I don't hear any CC noise or voice or see any info, and 142.665 as the CC in use by all agencies. Also when I set Unitrunker with a control channel of 142.485 MHz I get signal and voice channels in use for MTO and EMS, but no OPP.

So what is 142.485? As per RR, it is a voice channel for the Byron site of which 142.665 is the CC. And should I be able to hear MTO. My version of Unitrunker is showing 8 spaces for frequencies including the CC. You are saying then there should only be 3 spaces?

Everything on LMRN is P25 Phase 2. Unitrunker is likely not telling DSD which timeslot to utilize, I would think.

Why not use FMP24 + DSDPlus?

Thanks, that was my next move, lol.
Hah, on the right track then. Unfortunately even Unitrunker V2 doesn’t do P2 voice traffic. It’s a fantastic logger and I highly enjoyed using it for FleetNet listening though.

142.485 is currently being used as a data channel. If you put a current version of DSDPlus on one of these data channels you'll see there is a pretty steady stream of data activity (you view this in the packet data window)

Unitrunker v1 is very old and does not support P25 Phase 2. Even the latest version of Unitrunker 2.2.13 does not support Phase 2. This is why it's not passing Phase 2 data to DSD.
