Interesting... it's not often that you see RR getting a shout-out by a public safety agency....
Guessing the CFD media folks don't want to be bombarded by questions like "how do I listen to this radio system?".

Nowwww.....everyone believes me..... :LOL:. I wonder if they're going to purchase new scanners for the firehouses since the one they purchased before is only Phase 1 capable (996T). :unsure:

Small correction, it's "trunked radio system," not *trunk* radio system.

Trunked radio systems are one of the most complex types of radio systems in use today. Trunked radios use several channels or frequencies and allow those channels to be shared by a large number of users, in multiple talkgroups, without their conversations interfering with each other.

But at least they're not in encryption mode.
