ProScan: Unwanted talk groups

I have a 996P2 and using it for a DMR trunked system. When I download from RR I tic off the groups/id's I do not want. In the downloaded list the
groups/id's are not listed. But, when I upload the file to the radio and scan all the groups/id's are active. Did I miss something?

You probably have it set to recieve all TGs rather than just the ones you've imported. @doctordialtone explains it here best...
