Update Data Base & Firmware HP 436

Do you have to subscribe to Radio Reference to upload the Data Base on the 436? Is there a firmware upgrade,

Make sure you have the green-shield version of Sentinel installed, set target as your 436HP, connect scanner in mass-storage mode, click update firmware, click update master database (In Sentinel, no subscription required, and it's updated most Mondays), then click write to scanner.

Thanks all, radio is updated and running good. I guess I don’t have to have it programmed anymore. Scanner guys had best videos for learning the software.
