Updated Scanner Setup

I posted some pictures back in October of '08. Since then there has been some buying/selling/trading of a few radios/scanners here and there. Like others, I'm never totally satisfied and am always looking for more, but in the meantime, here's what it currently looks like here at the computer desk.

Left to right; Uniden BCT15, GRE PSR 500, and Uniden BC246T

The roof antenna is a Diamond Discone DJ130N fed with Times Microwave LMR 400. Inside the house it's connected to a Stridsburg 4 port active multicoupler. The mobile antenna is a Larsen 150/450/800.

I love those right-angled BNC connectors... I'm going to have to get me some of those!

I love the install in your car too. I had been thinking about buying one of those Pro Clips...any concerns with them? Right now I'm using a vent clip which seems to work pretty good.

The Pro Clip works great in my car!

These mounts are designed specifically for the model car you have. If you visit the site you will see that it's actually a 2 part setup to include the mount (which is what you see in the 4th picture I posted) and a holder, which attaches to the mount. If you look closely you can see that by the tightness of the belt clip on the BC246T it slides snugly onto the mount. It really works great and it does hold securely.

Very nice setup both base and mobile. Quick question...when I go to ProClip's website, I see the 2 part system but they dont offer a holder for Uniden. Which holder did you use? Thanks in advance
