Upper Eastern Shore

I've been spending a fair amount of time in Queen Annes County lately so I programmed the Upper Eastern Shore system into my Pro96.

Not sure if I programmed something wrong or the place is that slow but I have yet to hear one transmission on the system. Anybody care to venture a guess??

Must be some problem w/ programming or the unit.....the UES system is busy enough (although nothing like the trunked systems in the metro area).....and fairly strong - I can even monitor them from the Timonium/Towson area. The MSP Centreville and QA Sheriff dispatch TGs are among the most active of the entire system.

I figure it is my programming but I can't figure out what I did wrong. I have checked and triple checked the frequencies. All are entered as listed on this site. The control channel comes in loud and shows the system ID correctly. Haven't had this problem with any other system. Did I miss some offset frequeny some how?

Did you perhaps forget to turn the trunk function to "ON" for that bank? I made that simple little mistake one time and drove myself crazy until I finally figured it out and sheepishly changed the setting and solved the problem.

Yeppers, checked to make sure it's programmed for Motorola trunked, no channels or talkgroups ID's are locked out etc etc. Have no clue as to what's wrong.

Is this a pro96? What about you're func3 settings? Make sure they're set to "normal"

Mo, ya hit the nail on the head!!!! I just checked function 3 and it was set to table. Changed it to normal and lo and behold.....lotsa new stuff to listen to!!!! System is booming here in Overlea. Thanx!!

Good to hear you where able to get things working. The same thing happened to me driving up the NJ Turnpike, and this seemed eerily similar
