Does anyone know what "PAPA" units are? They are heard on the same frequency as "IDA"/NLECC

I heard 414.75 went active as an interop frequency many months ago in clear P25 mode, but since then it's silent except periodic DES "pings"

I am picking up 2 guys doing testing on 414.7500 82.5 clear as day on Long Island

I have a BR 330 T

Sure it's not your defective BR330T...

Clear as day here in Jersey as well. I'm also getting 82.5 and I haven't heard P25 on that channel. They also patch it to the NY/NJ Federal Interop channel.

I have not heard P25 on that channel also, it's been a while since I listened to that frequency but I think there is a agencies net at 10am on weekdays. It's not on everyday but when it does, it is linked to the VHF interop frequency

Here in Alaska USPS employee's which will include postal inspectors, they don't have access too any radio's. Their assigned cellular phones for their personal use. As i was told by a close friend who's a USPS employee.
