Here is a challenge for our sleuths.
Document which Maritime channels are in use at:
Bear Lake Marina
Lucerne Marina at Manila in Daggett County
Strawberry Marina
Lake Powell
Any other body of water large enough for a government marina.
FYI, Channel 16 is always in use, so you don't need to suggest it.
While camping out at Manila, scanner traffic was scant, so I started searching the maritime channels.
The Marina had a US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and they used a maritime government channel for their ops.
Every day, the wind would pick up and boaters had to be rescued. (towed back to the marina)
While camping at Strawberry, a boat had an explosion.
Like any other public place, they have to enforce laws for excessive speed, liquor violations, and other reckless behavior.
I can't find any of my old records that show what maritime channels the marinas were using when I was there.
But in the interest of scanning in Utah, I'm starting this thread.
