The software for the UV-5R Mini is flawed or has an overlooked issue....
When trying to program in an aviation frequency, if will not take it due to a "value error".
When manually entering it via the keypad on the radio it will accept it and automatically switch to AM mode.
Then you have to load the software, read it from the radio before you can name the frequency and then re-upload to the radio.
I guess for only 22 bux you cannot expect perfection. Fortunately I don't have many aviation frequencies to program.
