Well I reported what I saw...
if I get home tonight at a reasonable hour I will see ehat I see.
Up until mid week last week I had my scanner in the truck parked on the 851.050 and seeing when it would lock on and decode the 000AH-1101 and it was very predictable on hwy 64 comming from Tyler.
We shall see
I presume by the format you're using a Uniden scanner. Also, what mode are you in (Regular scan, Search or Analyze) when you see those numbers?

Site 0001 in your first image makes sense. That would match with what I captured on the mobile rig.

oops..maybe this time...

It says SID: 000Ah-1101 - I'm not sure about the 1101, but the SID, or System ID again would match: 00A

What's not showing is the WACN (which is 92BE9) or the RFSS (which is 11).

From the looks of your display, it looks like a BCD996P2, so I'm not certain what more it can display. On my SDS100, I can see all four of those values, although when I'm running the full mobile rig, I pull that data from the computer (since it logs it).

Also keep in mind that Simulcast systems like Van Zandt (and also Kaufman County as well) can play havoc on most Uniden scanners, and that can produce errors (especially if you're receiving more than one site on the system, since they will be out of phase on the received signals. Only the SDS100/200 really have the filters to handle simulcast. Most of the SDR and software-based solutions (like I run on my mobile rig) tend to do a good job of handling simulcast as well.

Thanks for the info, I knew most of it. Im not a scanner sleuth, doing radio work all day long, just not in to it st home much.
I live in VZV, and am aware of their new overpriced toy they are getting.
Just saw that the Canton tower wad on, thought Id let that be known to you all who do like to investigate new systems.
I will say that The 992 does well on the Henderson County system FROM MY HOUSE , on the fire groups.

Ok so I needed to go check one of my sites this morning, took a drive past 3 of the 5 sites and while they all have ignorantly mounted antennas, it appears still only the Canton site is spitting anything out.
no mw dishes on any if them either so, its still a work in progress.
851.050 still broadcasting what Ive shown earlier and since it appears only one site on air, dont think there is any simulcast error.
The 5th site I did not visit is far west and South. maybe another day I will peek.

All 5 sites are licensed as simulcast - so they'll all appear as a single Site, all with a control channel on 851.050. Best way to see if they're on the air is look at the signal strength (that's how I test simulcast). I didn't do a test for simulcast while I was there this week, but I had decent reception while I was driving through the County (Came in on I-20 from DFW to Canton, North on 19 to 80, and West to Willis Point, then North out of the County by 47 over Lake Tawakoni), so the simulcast may already be up.

If you're curious how I test a site to see if it's on the air, I disconnect the antenna from my radio while in close proximity to the site, if the site is on the air, the radio will be able to pick it up with an unterminated bare connector (also good for weeding out DX interference).
