They now have new talkgroups (perhaps new radios as well?), some which seem to have wide network coverage to their satellite locations in Scottsdale, AZ (and possibly North Carolina & Texas?) No changes frequency-wise at any of the PA sites. I'll be actively logging the changes then will make the update submission.

New talkgroups I've been able to ID:
TGID-10: Malvern Engineering?
TGID-11: Malvern IT Services?
TGID-12: Malvern Housekeeping
TGID-13: Malvern Facilities?
TGID-15: Malvern Security
TGID-16: Malvern Engineering

Assuming the 3-digit talkgroups have wide area capabilties?
TGID-151: One hit, no voice, UID 1017 (Matches Malvern Engineering UID scheme)
TGID-155: Housekeeping wide?
TGID-157: Radio check, UID 1276
TGID-170: Scottsdale, AZ Security
TGID-177: One hit, unintelligible, UID 4010

Still taking notes, rough draft & not every talkgroup is active daily but:

TGID-151: PA & AZ Security Interop
TGID-153: AZ Engineering?
TGID-157: PA & AZ Engineering Interop
TGID-160: One hit, no reply "Vanguard 1 to SCC" (security communications center?) Not widely used
TGID-177: Another hit calling facilities to security, nothing additional. Not widely used

SCC is security command center, their dispatch.

Interesting that they’d share PA+AZ. Guess they are cutting costs and reducing dispatch centers.

In the past, their system was so localized that they needed separate repeaters for the Malvern and Wayne (Southeastern Post Office area) campuses.

AZ security units use phonetics to identify (Bravo #, Golf #, Papa #) Not hearing the same trend with PA, rather Mobile #, East campus security, west campus security. Interesting...

I worked for Allied-Barton Security at Vanguard sometime around 2009-2010. At the time, Mobile 1 was the mobile security guy for the upper campus off Devon Park Dr. Mobile 2 was the main campus guy. SCC was the Security Command Center at the main campus and PMSCC was the Print Mill Security Command Center for the upper campus. Each building is numbered and "Patrol" was a foot patrol unit.
Granted, after 15 years these things could have been changed by now, but it's a start.

I submitted an RRDB update based on what I've been able to gather from over a month's worth of monitoring. There are some talkgroups that I've been unable to get a clear idea on usage, some that are seldom used, etc so I may or may not have more updates in the future. Time will tell...

Hearing radio checks tonight on TGIDs 160 & 201: Global Security Office (PA, NC & AZ). 160 referred to as "GSO wide area"

Now seeing new single digit talkgroups pop up (2, 3, 4, 6). Will comb through the audio files when time permits and look at the logs to see if any UIDs are common amongst known talkgroups...

Single digit talkgroups = North Carolina
TGID-2: Maintenance
TGID-3: Radio checks on 5/30, nothing further
TGID-4: Housekeeping
TGID-6: Security
TGID-8: Elana to SCC? on 5/30, nothing further

TGIDs 104 & 105: Arizona Housekeeping (the latter was Malvern's housekeeping channel prior to the TG restructuring)

I'll continue observation a bit longer to see if any additional NC talkgroups surface before making the update submission. Additionally I started threads in the Arizona and North Carolina discussion forums in hopes I can get folks to check the licenses there to see if they're part of this CAP+ system & carry the same traffic

PA sites appear to no longer be carrying out of state traffic. Unfortunately I couldn't find anyone to sleuth out the NC and AZ sites when I opened threads in their respective state forums so I guess we'll never know if they ever carried PA or other states' traffic. Ah well, I tried...
