This is my newly redesigned shack...

Not shown is my 996T, that's in another room.

The BC 780 is dedicated to monitoring aircraft...civilian and military.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. Some others may have good ideas that I may not have thought of.

The picture with the computer screen is the Igate for APRS

Very nice ! In the second pic, I see the corner of your HF Radio Map. I have one also, but looks like yours is a larger print version. What are the dimensions ? Staples said they could print one out for me for about $30 and it would be 34"x29".

The laminating was free because the Staples in Windsor had to send it to London because the printer malfunctioned. I think otherwise it would have been about 15.00$ more.

If it's black and white, it should only cost about $3-4.00 US (if you do it on the Xerox WF6204 with engineering bond). I work at the Staples in Roswell, GA and I print out lost of 24x36 aviation charts and they are dirt cheap.

BTW - you want constructive criticism? Where is the clutter? :)

Very Nice! I like the corner wooden piece there. I could use something like that in my shack. Very well organized!

super cool shack! I notice you love kenwood. Looks like you have a old 520 there below those old radios you can not beat. they are built like a tank.

Very nice indeed! I like to see those old school HF rigs setup and working.

Nice to have your own repeater. Can you provide some specs on it? I see a Motorola CDM (is it a 1250 in there?).

Also, I see the computer screen with the map, so I assume that is what you meant for the APRS.

What is the old style screen, with the green monochrome, being used for?

The CDM 1550 is being used as a link receiver for the repeater

The monitor is used to display RTTY, both amateur and commercial. it is hooked up to the M-900 decoder.

Oh nice, what kind of RTTY do you see over the commercial channels?
