Vertex VX150 Question

ive had i VX150 for about 2 years now and it really has only been a scanner for me because i am unable to figure out how to get PL/DPL tones to stay assigned to a frequency. i know i am following all of the instructions correctly, and i have had others try and make it work, but to no avail.

anyone have any ideas on how i can leave to world of CSQ and get the PLs and DPLs to stick?

You need to enter the PL information along with frequency while you are in the vfo mode BEFORE you save the channel into memory. If you write the frequency to memory, then add the PL it will not save it. Could this be the problem?

Get the ADMS-1F software from RT Systems (Vertex preferred). Here is a direct link on the RT Systems website where the ADMS-1F can be found:

I have the same software from RT Systems for my VX-150 and FT-7800R. Works great and saves time. Yaesu/Vertex will tell you the RT Systems software is better then their own.
