I am trying to scan a repeated VHF channel. I am using the listed frequency, but there is no traffic. The channel is active, as I can hear traffic on Broadcastify.com.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Richard

It doesn't stop on the channel. So there is no audio. I have tried it with both with the CSS and without it.

The repeater is about 7 miles from my location, so I must have the wrong frequency.

You could have a geographical reason as well. I live 5 to 10 miles away from several VHF repeaters, and terrain makes them inaccessible to my house.

We could help you quicker without 100 questions if you tell us what you are trying to hear with a link to the DB or Broadcastify feed, and let us know what you have in the scanner.
